If the bank fails to obtain a natural the player will always be dealt a third card on totals ranging from 0 to 5, whereas he will "stand" on totals ranging from 6 to 9. The hand that gets closest to 9 wins, and pays up at odds of 1 to 1. Only one additional card will be drawn on any one hand. On a tie neither hand wins or loses.
